Board Chair
Scott brings over 25 years of experience to the board in strategy, financial management, acquisitions, and sales & marketing at fast-growing software companies.
He has helped scale some of the most significant technology companies during his career. He currently serves as a board member and audit chair at both AppFire and SavageXFenty. He also serves on the boards of Veracode, and is the board chair at both Kofax and Technosylva. Previously, he was the chief operating officer (COO) at Alteryx and led the company’s digital transformation of core technologies, cloud transition, and successful M&A strategy.
Scott also served as the COO and chief financial officer (CFO) at Hortonworks, a public open-source data platform company that he took public in 2014. As COO and CFO, he oversaw Finance, HR, IT, Corporate Development, Sales, Marketing and Professional Services. In 2018, he successfully engineered the $5.2 billion merger of Hortonworks into Cloudera. Prior to this, Scott was the CFO of Quest Software, where he drove over 30 separate acquisitions, and held strategic financial roles at Citrix Systems, guiding it through robust revenue growth. Scott has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami.
